PETA: Iowa Slaughterhouse Abusing Animals

An animal rights group has captured videotape that it says shows cattle at a kosher slaughterhouse enduring an "absolutely outrageous" level of cruelty.¨ "They're ripping the tracheas and esophagi out of fully conscious animals, dumping them out of pens into pools of their own blood. The animals stand and bellow and attempt to escape for up to three and even four minutes in some cases." but then you have to consider that the orthodox jews don't want to spend money on those things if they can torture animals to death.. it's plainly a waste of money!! ... Link

Very well put!
I must admit I despise PETA (along with pretty much any other fanatical group) but those images/video is extremely disturbing... Not so much for the pain that the animals endure but for the fact that the 'workers' appear to feel nothing for the animals they are slaughtering... I think the US Gov (as per usual) is being extremely hypocritical by putting in strict guidelines on animal treatment and then allowing ritual killings simply because a certain religion requires it. All humans are equal but some are more equal? Animal farm anyone??? ... Link ... Comment
