If you ask me, the name of "the commune of La L÷Ïؘ" is actually much funnier... Pussy, France The name derives from the gallo-roman name Pusiacum, from pusus meaning little boy. Lying near the Isؘ River and the mountain of Mont Bellachat, the village boundary covers 1755 hectares (6.8 square miles). The local church, dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, was rebuilt in 1669. In 1561 the population was recorded as 455 people, 548 in 1776, and 276 in 1979. Pussy and several other small villages were merged into the La L÷Ïؘ commune for administrative purposes in 1972. ...
