--------REQUESTED BY ANON SENDER--------- Please delete my address line if you want to forward this mail further. (done!) In the beginning of the 80's the US provided false information to Irak which promised Irak a quick victory against Iran. Why? So that they wouldn't have to go in and "dissarm" Khomeini, the Irani leader themselves. Irak furthermore received vast military weapons support from the US, via Israel. Simultaneously the US also provided Chemical and Biological weapons to the Irak via Egypt. These WERE used against Iran, with the West knowing and encouraging it. The 8 year war took a toll and Irak was financially close to its ruins (whereas US weapons and banks were bathing in their money). In July 89 (after the war) a financial plan was discussed (between the US and Irak) which would have ensured food supply to Irak over a period of 5 years. It was turned down by the US as the Irak first had to decrease its state debt through the PRIVATISATION of most of its OIL INDUSTRY. Of course Irak turned this down. Then in 1989 the 2.3bn USD which the US promised to pay (for the war on Iran) was frozen. Irak was totally closed off from western Bank credits. NOW, Kuwaits Al-Sabah (who previously channeled the money for the Irak-Iran war) received order from the US to flood the market with dead cheap Oil (to ruin Irak further and force them to an agreement). OPEC tried with all means to stop Kuwait from doing this. Relations between Irak and Kuwait escalated. The US in July 1990 declared that the dispute between these was an inter-arabic dispute and that the US had nothing to do with it. On the 2. Aug the Irak entered Kuwait. During the next 6 months a well played world political theatrical piece was played out with lots of "negotiations" etc. (just as they are doing now). "The aim of our presence in the golf region is to create a New World Order". Now, u make up your OWN, not CNN's, mind ... Comment

WAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR
I'm a person that actually wants war, there aren't a lot of me. I don't believe that the USA have a good enough reason to go to war. I have a more practicle solution why I want war. Due to the uncertinty of war the stock exchanges around the world are unstable. In the unfortunate situation that war takes place the stock exchange will stabalise again and the economies will strengthen....................... There are either two ways out either war or no war. Either two will stabalise the economy........ I coundn't care less which one comes first but do you really think the US will back down ? So war it must be so satisfy my capatalist heart! Nokia down ~3% I need it to go up sorry a few people will just have to die to stuff my wallet a little bit more. hehehe ... Link

Professionalism Please
In an attempt to keep things professional and accurate at Blank, I suggest we discontinue the policy of allowing anonymous propaganda posts. My objections to this policy are as follows: 1. The piece was written in poor English. Just because we may be anti-war, does not allow us to bastardize the English language, unless it is for the purpose of poking fun, like in a joke or to generally make fun of English speaking people. 2. The piece contained no footnotes or anything of the like that would allure the reader to the historical accuracy of the piece, which is required in such text. It is easy for me to say Saddam Hussein is a CIA field agent, but more difficult for me to prove it. 3. Do we really want to be a forum for ridiculous fools who have too much time on their hands? OK, we do, but do we really want to become a political forum or should we remain the fun/informational forum that we are today? Yes, the piece contained information, but it was about as trustworthy as CNN's information. Now, to show that this was not written with an attempt at censorship in mind, I will follow up with a story dedicated to the anti-war movement. This page will consist of links to other pages that are dedicated to such propaganda. Who is in favour of my suggestion? This message will self destruct. ... Link ... Comment |
