Lets eat some chicken!!!! We all love meat don't we????..........;-(((((((((((((((((

oh my, i just love being a vegi since 10 years! ;-))))))))))

I could never be a vegi, I like meat far too much...

Besides according to research, as long as you cook the chicken properly first you're fine. Now I remember being told that as a child, raw chicken will give you Salmonella - so why are people still eating uncooked chicken???

Anyway, there's no point in getting all worked up, it won't help. If this thing does become a pandemic (airbourne and contagious) then the heavy breating that a panic attack induces is likely to be more harmful than simply relaxing and taking things easy.

Now that's logic for you! ;o)

The Choke-A-Chicken flaps and waddles around doing the Chicken Dance, clucking and flapping its wings in sync with the Chicken Dance melody. Grab him by the neck and he will squawk and cluck like mad, flapping his wings and feet wildly as if he is really being choked. Put him down and he will waddle off, singing and dancing as he goes.

I wish my Birthday wound't be so far away ... :-)

I LOVE meat... I always say, " If nothing has died for my dinner there is no point eating it!" :-P

Hate to break it to you...

But unlike BSE, you don't get bird flu from eating the meat, you get it from 1) getting too close to chickens (eww) or 2) getting close to somebody who has been too close to a chicken - being a vegi will not save you... HAHAHAHAHA

The jury still seems to be out on that one...

Q: Can I continue to eat chicken?

Yes. Experts say avian flu is not a food-borne virus, so eating chicken is safe.

The only people thought to be at risk are those involved in the slaughter and preparation of meat that may be infected.

However the World Health Organisation recommends to be absolutely safe, all meat should be cooked to a temperature of at least 70C. Eggs should also be thoroughly cooked.

Professor Hugh Pennington of Aberdeen University underlined the negligible risk to consumers: "The virus is carried in the chicken's gut.

"A person would have to dry out the chicken meat and would have to sniff the carcass to be at any risk. But even then, it would be very hard to become infected."

It's a real shame too cos I was looking forward to my tea of dried chicken gut tonight. Never mind, will have to be pizza again!
