”The solution is simple

Give away all CD’s as gifts to everyone else. Everybody does the same and so you will also get a CD from a mate. You are maximally allowed to have them for a week and then you have to give it to someone else again. What you do with them as long as the CD’s are yours is up to you. During this time you can make safety copies of your CDs. After the week you give the original to a friend and receive a new one from someone… and so on and so forth

If they want to stop this then they would have to write laws against gifts. Say goodbye to Christmas and birthdays in that case.”
