New Google Data Centre

Possibly old news:
http://www.iht.com/articles/2006/06/13/business/search.php

Unfortunately a little short on details but I quite like the idea of what you might store in "two football field size data centres with 4 storey cooling towers" that has to be "situated next to a dam in order to supply sufficient power".

Anyone got any more technical details, specs, etc?

I also love the comparison of Google to the Borg...

Yea! Baby!!! 2*3.41ghz

Overclocked my new 805 (2.66ghz @ FSB130) to 3.41ghz @FSB170. Stable operation. No crashes. Rams are also overclocked and run at higher volts as well as shorter timings.

Drawback:
Maxperformance on my rams right now are 660 roughly. Just a shame that i bought new "designer" (broaky calls them so) DDR2's with 800mhz clock. But hej, maybe thats a good argument to watercool my PC....

Oh, i nearly forgot... I would like to thank ASUS callcenter for de-idiotising me.

PS. sorry slomo for talking to you in a strange language the last few days.

Pirate Bay goes home

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/06/15/piratebay_back_sweden/

Swedish BitTorrent site Piratebay has moved home after a brief sojourn in the Netherlands.

And it is sending a subtle message in its reverse DNS which reads: "hey.mpaa.and.apb.bite.my.shiny.metal.ass.thepiratebay.org.".
