Ohne eine Registrierung werden Handys gesperrt

Wer sein Handy mit einer Prepaid-Karte betreibt, muss sich bis zum 31. Oktober registrieren lassen. Hunderttausende Betroffene haben dies noch nicht getan. Neu ist die Registrierung für Kundinnen und Kunden aller Anbieter auch bei der Post möglich. http://www.20min.ch/news/schweiz/story/22951856 Don't think too many of you have pre-paid... I have one but its from 2000 ... hehehe no need to register :-) Mybe I can sell it to some drug dealer:-) ... Comment

the one you bought in 2000 i probably blocked if you haven't refilled it in the last year. ... Link

Yes,
If the card doesn't register on the network every couple of months it should be automatically disabled and then re-allocated to the pool of free numbers. If you have kept your phone on for the past 4 years then it should still work just fine. Either way it will be blocked if you don't register by the end of October, that notice is for all new and existing pre-paid cards... ... Link

It was used the last time last December..There is only a need to register cards from November 2002 " dass sich Prepaid- Kunden, die ihre SIM-Karten seit dem 1. November 2002 in Betrieb genommen haben, bis zum 31. Oktober nachregistrieren lassen müssen" ... Link
