i keep on getting more.... apparently that means that the people that I have given invitations to are using them frequently!

windoze, beta, riiight... name it beta-something and there wil be some mysterie involved... i'm getting tired of this wannabe-only-for-vig (very important geeks) google-ism.

although they're coding some useful tools... :-P

All it is is a little Outlook style envelope in the system tray that tells you when you have new gmail - saves having to open the site to check...

yeh, i got that, and it sounds pretty useful. it's just my point of view generally...

yupp..they just changed it a bit... the gmail notifier is kewl.. too bad it's just for windows...

They should just open it to the public now :-)

They open it to the public and all of a sudden they have service levels and expectations to fulfil. This way it is still in beta and you clearly know that if you accepted one of the invitations...

Imagine if each person who got an invitation accepted and opened an account. Then sent out their 6 invitations the next day which in turn were accepted and so on and so on... In 10 days there would be 60,466,176 gmail accounts. Hmmm...
That's not even taking into account the fact that as your invitations get accepted and more are sent, you receive more...
