16´461 germans live in zürich (according to swiss statistics) and have thereby overtaken the italians. They now form the biggest group of foreigners with 14,9 %. I still prefer pizza and lasagne to wurst.... ;-)

in vienna there a just a bit mor than 12k, which is less than 1 per cent. but still, there's enough wurst.

My idea on this topic: italians born here do have often the swiss nationality (so for example I do not count as a foreiger by having both the italian and swiss passport)
Therefore the Krauts do not seem to have this urge to naturalisation.
Well, just my opinion watching the secondos I know...

...and hopefully it will get easier in the future with the naturalisation of secondos!!
