FBI action over illegal file-swap
bastard
19:45h
Read this: its interesting how much propaganda is in the comments of jon ashcroft. First of all, running a DC Hub is not illegal. For all we know the hub owners did not have any files on the system. John asscroft however claimed that: "Each of the five hubs enough storage for the equivalent of 60,000 movies or 10.5 million songs". This could be missinterpreted as if the HUBS had 60'000 movies. Then he goes on to say: "In order to join the network, members must promise to provide between one and 100 gigabytes of material to trade, the equivalent of up to 250,000 songs." OK! If you download songs that are 400kb big sure... but the average song is about 4-6mb which brings down the number to 20'000 songs... "They are clearly directing and operating an enterprise which countenances illegal activity and makes as a condition of membership the willingness to make available material to be stolen," - HAHAHA whatever dude. ...
