The Denver Post says the girls did not notice anything wrong until they got their pictures back from the developers.

They included shots of an unidentified man placing his genitals on the girls' personal items including drinking cups and food.

The incident happened earlier this month when the girls were staying at a hotel in Boulder during a cheerleading camp.

Barb Helder, mother of one of the girls, said: "It was quite a shock looking at those, quite a shock that in the very room she was in he would do these things to himself."
