archive...

their album has been out for a couple of weeks.. and it´s damn good.. if you like eletro bleeps and rock.. get this one..

i got to know them in october in conjunction with the release of the unisex latest single where archive had remixed one of their tracks..

the album is called "noise" and i guess it´s available at jamarico or better record shops--

for those who want to see them live you will have to wait for the montreux jazz festival on july 12th... i will remind you..

i think they're gone too far. i bought the last one "it all looks the same to me" and it's kind of a radiohead-pink floyd-modern-electroni-rock-thing. really good music actually that creeps you out and infects your subconscious mind (or whatever...). can't listen to it anymore, too intense.

if you trace them back to their first album "londinium" (with karl hyde from underworld on the guitar) - that was the pure essence of triphop in that time when it came up! still a breathtaking album that was never beaten by any of these bristol-bands back then.

me for myself, i'd make a huge difference between archive in londinium-times and the post-rocker that will play at montreux this year.

i'd be up for it anyway!
