What and who and how is a managed service? dammit, why can't they speak english? if anybody has an idea what this means please let me know.

maybe...

within the area of data communications and internet services a managed service would be a communications network/service for the customer that wuld be fully managed by the supplier in terms of keeping an eye on it and ensuring that it works at all times. it would involve service level guarantees and a shit-load of money.

Unfortunately that's not the case though. This is Managed Services for a recruitment consultant. That'll be purely dealing with HR related services which have been outsourced to the recruitment firm. Basically taking a lot of shit I suspect...

i just needed to know whether or not to accept the job BEFORE i get sent to amsterdam or london and don't have a choice anymore.

well, lets hope the shit is kept to a minimum and the shit-load (of money) prevails. keep dreaming...
