W32.Netsky.B is a mass-mailing worm that uses its own SMTP engine to send itself to the email addresses it finds when scanning the hard drives and mapped drives. This worm also searches drives C through Z for folder names containing "Share" or "Sharing," and then copies itself to those folders. ... Comment

no kidding... PM has been fighting with it now for over 24 hours... they actually pulled the plug on external email for a while ... Link

Yeah, we've all been trying to fight this and the other couple of the last week or two... I'm still receiving 100+ delivery failures due to owning a domain name and these viruses spoofing the from fields... Pain in the Arse... ... Link ... Comment |
