Drivers be warned!

Tomorrow there is a nation-wide Police/Military traffic control. This is rumoured to take place for all of tomorrow during which there will be many stringent controls on all types of vehicle. They will not only be checking blood-alcohol and speed levels, but will be doing entire vehicle checks (lights, tyres, oil, etc). You have been warned! ... Comment

They said so on the Radio that is all I have, I also thought it was strange that the e-mails said that the Army was helping .... I just can't believe the swiss army has any otherisation to do anything.... and it also said FORWARD this e-mail.. but better to be safe than sorry I guess... I guess we will find out tomorrow :-) Bon Ap ... Link

The main thing is that I received it from GM Car Administration, so I would guess they know what they're talking about. Having said that, the guy that sent it out is not renowned for his intelligence... The army would be helping out because in crisis times, the army takes over or assists the police in their activities. That bit makes a bit of sense (almost as much sense as Switzerland having an army in the first place)... I'm just going to be careful tomorrow anyway - not worth losing my license over... ...
