Bush's "New Global Warming Plan"

Bush initiates study of global warming with a focus on learning about NATURAL causes of climate change. These are the steps in the 10 year plan & $130m research budget:

1) study the "natural variability" in climate change
2) find better ways of measuring climate effects from burning fossil fuels, industrial production of warming gases and changes in land use
3) reduce uncertainty in climate forecasting; to better understand how changes in climate affect human, wildlife and plant communities
4) and to find more exact ways of calculating the risks of global warming

Nice! They are now starting to study better ways of measuring climate change with a focus on the earths "normal" changes. In 10 years they may start implement the "better ways of measuring climate effects from burning fossil fuels" and in approx. 30-50 years they may start to draw up a paper which will outline how to interpret these findings. In about 70-100 years this research may be ended however fossil fuels will have run and the conclusions thus not applicable.

Go Bush! Save the world!
