Swiss Driver Held for Fatal Motorway Accident Released on Bail

A Swiss driver was released from a French jail on Wednesday where she was being held in custody after a fatal road accident last month. The motorist was driving at 170 km/h down the autoroute blanche near the French town of Annemasse on June 7th when she rammed into a police van. The woman admitted she was sending a text message on her mobile phone at the time of the collision. Two officers were killed on impact. The 32 year-old broke her wrist and her two children, aged one and two years-old, were unharmed in the crash. The suspect, charged with manslaughter, had been behind bars since the incident. The woman’s lawyer said his client should be released on bail because she’s six months pregnant.

what about the fool boy who decided to fly off a bridge in a car, pushed five people off with him, then landed on two more and crushed an eighth with a flying baby buggy (the baby survived)...
i think a concerted effort should be made by road safety officials to make switzerland more exciting and thus eliminate the need for drivers to do crazy dumbass stunts in their car.
