Cool

I haven't seen anything "good" ones yet.

We have been staying away from Windows MCE for now because of the reliability problems. It crashes way too much.

Since we provide the control system and programming of it we usually combine several machines to give them the same features they would have with a MCE.

I can go into more detail if you want.

actually i'd like to have something thats as lightweight as possible, but also look good on the screen.

the xbox mce is amazing (xbmc or something like that), but it's not fully ported for linux on pc x86 :-(

What features do you want?

This one is the most lightweight one I know of: http://www.geexbox.org/

something with a simple control interface also...

actually, i'd like to have coverflow with 4 categories

picture albums
music albums
tv shows
movies

sort of like in frontrow.. but i guess i can keep dreaming..
