I think we're going to have to make a sacrifice to the god of snow!

I was up at Champery this weekend and it was rather brown so if we want the weather on our side next weekend it's time to round up some half naked jungle dwellers paint them blue and cut their hearts out until there is an eclipse.

Or we could defy mother nature and put wheels on our boards/skis.

As i shall spend most of next weekend reading, going for nature walks, peoplewatching and drinking copious amount of jägertee... which can be done in any weather. HA!

We may well just get fresh snow in the resort as it looks like a front's coming in on the weekend. However If the weather stays good all week and the lawinen bulletin shows conditions as favourable then touring is where the powder is gonna be at !

I'll join chesty on the copious amounts of jägertee, but keep those pesky schlümli pflümli's away from me !!!

you'll be lucky if you can get schümli pflümli and Jägertee down here, I've never found any, am quite partial to a Kaffee Lutz myself.

You'll have to settle for crépes avec moustache hair and a glass of bordeux with a distinct taste of armpit.

ps: will I have to purchase a whole load of equiptment for this backcountry adventuring?

...i believe the french alp counterpart to the jägertee or the schümlipflümli is the Cafe Brulot... not as funny but i'm sure it's still lethal and will help me roll down the hill in time for dinner. yumyum
