i am guessing you also listened to "it's a shame about ray.." the one that put them in the mainstream. it's also the record that i ended up listening to the most. i know that davidm was also a hardcore fan, and bought their whole backcatalogue or am i wrong dave? i remember you going on about them on the way to school from the 161 bus.. ...
