- turn on night mode
- white balance: incandescent (i change this all the time depending on the light)
- pic quality: fine
- picture size: medium 640x480 (or bigger of course)
- a steady hand and a non-moving object (both almost impossible at this state of a night..)

edit: never use the zoom!
