Set to the stripped-down acoustic soundtrack of José González' "Heartbeats" (written by The Knife!), 250,000 'superballs' come flying, in slow motion, over the brow of a typical street in San Francisco, raining down on anything that gets in their way. And it was done without computer graphics. http://www.bravia-advert.com/ ... Comment

wicked. I think computer and digital photos is cheating and are getting bloody boring. It always nice when someone does something for real, instead of sitting in front of a screen and doing it the easy way. ... Link ... Comment

I hope you where being sarcastic :-) That is one of the oldest crowd pleasers..... I always feel slightly sheepish doing it :-) I remeber looking over at Miladin at Slipknot thinking " two, nearly thirty year olds, both with six figure salaries, and we are sitting down on a dirty concert floor, because some dude in a mask told us to do so" I felt very pethetic ( but it was a lot of fun) ... the irony...
After years of being impressed by computer generated battlescenes, destruction of cities and massive tidal waves we are all now incredibly impressed by a tv ad NOT created by a computer. ... Link

naaah
I always hated those cg thingies - just compare the old star wars with the new ones... hmm, instead of making a model and sticking a child midget in it, or building scale replicas of battle scenes so the geeks have artifacts to collect and sell on ebay for years afterwards we'll spoil all their fun and make a jittery crappy bright green yoda whose lips flicker and make all the battle scenes look like some shite xbox game. such a good idea. ... what's wrong with the old-fashioned stuff? http://explore4fun.com/magplasbub.html When I lived in Italy (well Sn00 had to mention his 6-figure salary so i'm going to mention my exotic jetsetting childhood) we used to buy these all the time - they rolled up into pretty lethally hard little balls afterwards too so you had anti-sibling ammunition as well as big cushy bubbles... ...
