that's the exact same custom we crossed from new brunswick (cnd) to maine. and those are the most useless agents ever! they kept and questionned us for being an "international" couple, for driving a van, for not knowing the exact age of the kids (my relatives) who we'll be visiting in boston, for only having a phone number of them...

maybe with a bloody chain saw that wouldn't have been a problem at all.
