who is responcible for the supervision of Saddam? most possibly the CIA or a very high division of the US army... The best thing for them to do to quieten the resistance is to release such images . Or in the words of the US army source: "It's important that the people of Iraq see him like that to destroy the myth". The US has lost Shiite lots of solidiers in the last few weeks due to the resistance, insurgence or whatever the hell you want to call them (in THEIR view their freedom fighters!).
