mmm, what was the name of that show again on the BBC? It's like NBC and the others just can't think of anything original. This show when it starts next week will probably be a huge hit. It's like they have to dumb down UK shows for the US market. At least that is what it feels like. Why don't they just air the UK version? Wouldn't it be cheaper? They don't even have to translate it? Or do they ?! LOL

you can't translate this series. it doesn't work in the us.

weird. i will look at the first episode just to see how they have tried to replace the caracters, especially brent, but this will undoubtly suck if you like the original. ;-)

the original UK version did air in the states and was a huge hit...it was the first non-us tv show to win an emmy award...it won two that year...and as for original ideas, i think there are plenty..there is nothing wrong with ripping a good idea however...where would switzerland be without a dating show? on another note, the us version of the office will most likely suck like much of whats on nbc right now
