http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4159587.stm An official ban on smoking in all enclosed public places - including bars, restaurants, and offices - has come into force in Italy. If the Italians can make this work then there will be no excuses for anyone else... A non-smoking planet by 2010! /Edit: Also an interesting way to educate the public: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4161245.stm ... Comment

hahaha ha haaha ha
Now that I have managed to totally kick my occasional work and drink-fuelled habit, I can be really smug. Not that i'm getting greedy, i just think the swiss might maybe start making a few more steps in that direction... ok so you can't smoke in the 'unterbahnhof' of the hb, but you can still fill the train that is in the unterbahnhof with your cancerous stink... ... me as an italian I prefer the swiss way...smoking allowed but falsification of a balance sheet incriminated...not quite as in Italy...but just in case br0aky, save a few nicotine patches for me too... ... Link ... Comment |
