In september we got a letter telling us that as cablecom office clients we would not be able to use their smtp-servers anymore due to the fact that all hispeed email users will require a authentication after December the 13th.

So since Yesterday.... Guess What?

Oh yes thats right My lovely company forgot the letter, or more to the point somone just filed it, and it took me all day to find it, only to discover that we have to change our contract to another provider. Yay!

Cablecom are shite for sending important letters which look like advertising CARP!

And R's fault for not even bothering to do anything about it or forgetting or just being CARP!

Morel of the story READ EVERYTHING YOU GET FROM CABLECOM, and make sure you have a super dude like me to ring CABLECOM (at least 10 times) and rumage through files.

dealing with cablecom for any sort of service is a BITCH i hate them when it comes to service..

Although with out blowing my own trumpet too much, i have to say i've become pretty damn amazing at arguing with cablecom - ALWAYS ASK FOR THE MANAGER - scares the little 18yr olds into actually doing something...
