When will people learn... Car always trumps a bike...

A wise suggestion for people who like to bike... drive into something which is smaller and softer... like a human. If you crash into a car you will get hurt!!!! and your bike will break!!

This f'ing idiot thought he had the right of way at a pedestrian crossing, so he crashed into me. He wanted to call the police as his front wheel was messed up. He actually managed to hit my front right wheel, so my car took no damage :-)

The police come, speak to me, the cyclist and the guy in the car behind me, who had stopped, and waited as a witness..

The story ends with me going home, with no damage on the car, and the cyclist going home with a busted front wheel and a CHF100 fine for using the pedestrian crossing on a bike PLUS the cost of calling out the police :-)

This movie was made by the Danish Road Safety Council and aims to draw attention to speed signs and speed limits in Denmark. Despite a decrease in speed violations, 7 out of 10 Danes still exceed the speed limit on a regular basis. Respecting the speed limits is the simplest way to save lives.
