Seems like the 55 million broadband users now put commercial TV at risk as people are more inclined at staying online instead of watching oprah... I believe this will put a few channells out of business.

What is your take on this and which channells are obsolete?

It seems like bmd's predictions could have come true. Early analyses revealed that the screensaver did indeed provoke DoS attacks on the targeted servers. Some sites were completely down. The Lycos screensaver site has also been forced to change its ip address as many spam sites redirected traffic back to Lycos.

Lycos' anti-spam screensaver is "on hold" and noone was available for comment...
