it's obvious laptops don't like me..

in less than two weeks after recieving my laptop the HD broke..
so i went to pick up a shiny new one with 40gb and that one has crashed too..

does anyone know any good recovery tools for harddisks?
(not just "get a mac")

I heard that putting it in the freezer, and dropping it from a table are also good way of making them work temporarily..

Who have managed to cause a massive data network failure in most of Switzerland.

Apparently nothing is working including their own in-house networks, their GPRS networks and, best of all, their ATM networks!!!
