Amazon has decided to take on Google with their new search engine, A9.

Offers some very nice features among which are; sign in with Amazon logon ID for search history, open book search and other offers, impressive site info pop up which can be useful at times, and my personal favourite; the ability to be able to search in plain text by typeing a9.com/search string in the address bar!
