Hmm, so here's the story...

Bunch of SEOs want to find out which methods are best for getting decent results on Google, in real life. So somebody decides to setup a competition (SearchGuild) and 'invents' the term Nigritude Ultramarine. SEOs then have a month to get to #1 on Google and they win a prize (excitment: an iPod).

I can't help but think that blogs (exactly like this one) are going to skew the results in a signifcant way. For example; I've just linked to the page above, with an article featuring the keyword(s). That means that the description of the competition is going to get a plus point from Blank. If enough blogs do this, it'll win the competition...
